These Terms of Service govern your use of the website food-certificate.org.uk and all associated courses and services. By purchasing a course or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
2. Who We Are
This website is operated by Joreev Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 10192567), with its registered office at 7 Greenburn Close, Gamston, Nottingham, England, NG2 6QL. "Food Certificate" is a trading name of Joreev Ltd and forms part of Compliance Training (compliance-training.org.uk), a collection of training services operated by Joreev Ltd. VAT Number: 243013162
3. Course Access & Accounts
- You must register an account to access purchased courses.
- Account credentials must be kept secure. You are responsible for any activity on your account.
- Sharing account access is strictly prohibited.
- We reserve the right to revoke access if we detect misuse or fraud.
- Course content is subject to updates for accuracy or compliance.
- Course access is granted for the stated period at time of purchase.
- This course is not a formal RQF food safety & hygiene qualification, the levels indicate the type of course so that businesses can choose whom it is suitable for.
4. Group Enrolments
- If you are a group leader, you are responsible for managing seats and inviting users appropriately.
- Unused seat access will expire at the stated period at time of purchase.
- If you are enrolled in a course via a group purchase (through your employer or another organisation), your access is subject to that group’s seat availability and management via our Groups Management system.
5. Certificates
- You will receive a digital certificate upon successful completion of a course.
- Each certificate includes a unique ID which may be used to verify its authenticity.
- We only retain the most recent renewal certificate in your account. You must download and save older versions if needed.
6. Payments & Refunds
- Payments are processed securely via WooCommerce and our payment providers.
- You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the course has not been started, in line with UK consumer law.
7. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, and branding are the intellectual property of Food Certificate. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share content without permission. You may not download, copy, or redistribute course videos or materials except where expressly allowed.
8. User Content
You may have the option to leave course reviews or comments. By posting content, you grant us a licence to display it publicly and moderate or remove it if needed.
9. Acceptable Use
- Do not share your account with others.
- Do not use the site to harass others or post harmful content.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or our policies.
11. Limitation of Liability
We aim to provide accurate, reliable training. However, we do not guarantee that completion of a course ensures legal compliance or employment. We are not liable for any loss resulting from course use, unless required by law.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
13. Marketing Communications
We may send you marketing emails (e.g. course updates, offers) based on legitimate interest after you purchase a course.
